Our content Migration Service includes a review of the current storage methods, indexing structures and file formats. We establish what mechanisms the current system has for exporting data and images, what the new indexing scheme will be, the preferred image format and storage location.

Once the above has been agreed we configure our “Extractor-Committer” application and run sample data through it prior to setting up the production system. The process can be run as a background task and the time taken to transfer the data and images will be dependent upon processor power and capacity. A full audit trail is maintained throughout the migration process and iiCon provides assistance in resolving any exceptions that may arise.
